Your privacy
Draft of 4 November 2026, written for a solicitor's review. Not yet in force.
What we keep
From couples: your names, email, wedding date and venue, the settings you chose, and a record of your payment (Stripe handles the card; we never see its details).
From guests: the first name you type, the clips you film (which show faces and voices), and a random code your phone keeps so your clips stay yours. No account, no email, no phone number.
Why
To run the wedding you booked: to send guests' clips to the couple, make the film, and let you download everything. For couples, that's our contract with you. For guests, it's so the couple gets the clips you chose to film for them.
Who sees it
The couple sees every clip and the name of whoever filmed it. Guests see only their own clips, and the film if the couple shares it. Stripe processes payments. [Hosting provider to be named once chosen.] We don't sell anyone's data or use it for advertising profiles.
How long
Clips and films are kept for 12 months after the wedding so the couple can download them, then removed. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for accounts.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. A guest can take back their own clips from their page at any time. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
[For the solicitor: controller name and contact, lawful basis for guests' clips, founding couples' demo use and guests' consent to it, erasure versus the couple's copy, international transfers (Stripe), and the storage period.]
