The terms
Draft of 4 November 2026, written for a solicitor's review. Not yet in force: no real payment is taken until it is checked.
What you're paying for
Amoire is a recording system for your wedding. You get a link and a table code for your guests; each guest films short clips through the Amoire lens on their own phone, and every clip comes to your private page. You can download all of them at any time. We keep them for 12 months after your wedding.
One booking covers one wedding and up to 150 guests filming (we raise the limit if you have more), each with the number of clips you chose.
The film is free
With every booking you also get a film: an automatic edit of whatever your guests film, in landscape, vertical and square, which you can remake as often as you like. It's only as good as their footage: the more guests film, the better it gets.
Because the film is made from your guests' own footage, shaky, dark or badly framed clips, few guests filming, nobody filming a particular moment, poor sound, or the moments the automatic edit chose are not grounds for a refund or complaint.
When it's our fault, we fix it
If a clip a guest's phone showed as sent never reaches you, if a film fails to make, won't play or is corrupted, if clips you left out appear in the film, if names in the credits are wrong, or if the edit itself breaks something (a cropped circle, broken titles, sound out of time), tell us and we'll put it right. If we can't, we'll refund you. This doesn't affect your legal rights.
Price and payment
The price is the one shown when you book, paid in full at booking by card through Stripe. We never see your card details. Founding couples pay the founding price shown at the time, in return for letting us use their film as described below.
Cancelling
You can cancel within 14 days of booking for a full refund, for any reason. After that, contact us and we'll be fair about it. If Amoire can't run your day, you get every penny back.
Your film as a demo (founding couples)
Founding couples agree that Amoire may show their film, and clips from it, on our website and social media and in our ads. We only use clips from guests who agreed on their own page. Ask us to stop at any time and we'll stop using it in anything new.
Your guests
Guests film voluntarily and can take any of their own clips back from their page. Please only invite guests to film where the venue allows it.
The legal part
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other law that can't be excluded.
[For the solicitor: trading name and address, contact email, the 14-day right where the wedding falls inside the cancellation period, and the storage period after 12 months.]
